How do I get makeup off of a down comforter?

I forgot to take off my make-up and got a small on my white down comforter, it is a press powder make-up (don’t know if that matters)

    Turn the comforter around so the makeup is at the bottom of the bed (heehee!) I wash my down comforter in my front-loader with no problems at all. Just dry on low and turn it a few times so the center doesn’t stay wet.

    Rub undiluted dish washing liquid into the stain. Allow that to sit for 20 to 30 minutes. Then launder as usual. Repeat if necessary.

    It doesn’t matter which brand you use, as long as it’s a excellent name brand. Most people recommend Dawn, but I’ve found other brands work just as well…Ajax, Palmolive, etc.

    The dish washing liquid will break down the stain and allow the washer to wash it away.
