Does anyone know how to format an ACER Aspiron One Netbook that does not come with a cd drive? I tried myself but have an error code saying that something is missing. I tried the ALT F10 thing but it messed it up. Can anyone help me as this computer is not that ancient.

Hook the netbook to an external CD drive if you have one. If not, borrow from a friend or rent one from some hard ware rental store (if there is any). Even if you can reformat the hard drive after plugging it into another PC, you still need the CD drive to reinstall your OS if not it remains as a bare matter (a machine without any OS).
