How can I make a temporary halter for my dogs?

The halters at the vet are quite expensive but I have used them before (dogs chewed them XD) so I want to make a temporary one, could I make one with a really long leash?

How can I make some files on my computer not visible to whoever is accessing it?

I tried the hidden folders, but the folders just kinda became faded but they were still visible and accessable. Any tricks?
